Apparently I can't read

I've been working on dad's sweater and I have the body pretty much done and I have started the first sleeve. Things were looking good till I read the packaging my circle needle came in and I realized I'm knitting the body on a size 9 but the sleeves on a 10! OY!!! I re-checked my guage and its a stitch bigger than it should be on the 9's which I'm ok with since the more room the better for dad. It also means that my sleeves are now 1.5 sts bigger than they should be. I hope he doesn't notice because there's no going back now. Seriously, what kind of drugs was I on when I started this sweater? I guess I should stop worrying and just get back to knitting. But what am I going to do when I get to the saddle shoulder??? Leave it to me to fuck up something this big on this tight of a schedule.

I doubt you want to hear it, but try to fix the gauge as soon as you can. The sleeves might be minor, but the body of the sweater could really be an issue. I've been (and actually am) there, and it is not pretty.

you saw how well the saddle shoulder worked out for me and the infamous cape - so I'm not the right person to ask about such things - I officially do not heart saddle shoulders!

He'll never notice the difference in the arms - as long as they are the same - and then you keep with the same needle for the yoke

ah, last minute holiday knitting - such a joy :o)
