In more ways than one. The beast in my tummy has been keeping me up for the last few nights and no I'm not pregnant its just a little sensitive at the moment. Anyway, I'm exhausted and took the day to rest because there was no way I was making it through a whole day at work without a nap or 12. And since I'm home and my allergies are insane at the moment I'm taking this opportunity to pump myself full of decongestant so frankly I'm a little high at the moment, its kind of nice. I decided that this is the perfect time to work on my spinning! I haven't been able to find the spindle I've been working on for the past few months. I keep rearranging my stash thinking it will magically turn up but still nothing. I'm very close to finishing the roving I was working on and its very frustrating that I can't find it and finish it already but I wanted to spin so I broke out another spindle and start on some roving from my stash.
I bought this batt from CJKopec months and months ago and I'm happy I'm finally spinning it up. The colors were a little darker than I though they were going to be. Even in my picture it looks more blue and purple than black but now that I'm spinning with it I L-O-V-E love it!! It spins like a dream!
All the way in the back of the picture you can see a little brown mound of knitting, that's my Back-to-School Vest by Stephanie Japel. I can't wait till its done so I can wear to her little retreat thing in November! Is that ok? Or is that like wearing the tee shirt of the band you're seeing? You have to let me know if I'm committing some sort of knitting sin!
Ok back to sleepies for me, decongestants are fun and all but man they mess me up.
