Finally I’m all done with the skirt. I decided not to cinch in the bottom to make it a tulip skirt because my gauge wasn’t totally right so it didn’t come out quite as long as it should have been but I really like the flowiness of the skirt.

Now I’m off to swatch the flair jacket. Yah I know I’m going to actually swatch a project. I’m such a good knitter!

Yay!! Congrats on finishing. It looks great! You must be so excited to be done! Good luck with the swatch - I spent over an hour and tried 4 or five different needles for the sweater I'm working on. (and which I'm about to pick up, along with my coffee and a magnolia bakery cup cake - I love lazy Sunday afternoons!)
Super cute! I love wearing skirts with footless tights. I've always been wary of knitted skirts, but I like this one!
Beautiful! Is that from Knit Couture? I just picked that up from my library. It looks like several projects have potential, but it has some of the worst photography of any book I've seen recently. The colors they chose for the garments are dark, the lighting is dark, and it's hard to make out what anything is. I'm so glad to see a "real" sample--yours is so cute!!
What a great skirt, nice colour!
