I've turned into my mother.
The scene: this morning as I'm getting ready for work...
I've got my tights on, I nice vintage looking lace top and a thin black cardi. I'm about to put my skirt on when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror...HOLY FUCK BALLS...when did I become my mother? My whole life I've looked just like my dad. In fact once at a soccer game in high school the coach thought my mom HAD to be this other girl's mom because I just didn't look like I shared any blood with her. It took a good 10 minutes to convince him she really was my mother. Then one day my hair just stopped being blond and the bottle didn't work and then POOF I was my mother standing in my bathroom putting on a skirt! I remember when I was about 2 feet high seeing her just like I was in the mirror...very scary.
Ok time to eat something and run to knitting group!
Don't look in the mirror girls...you may see you're mother staring back at you...

Just wait till you have kids. Then you'll really think you've turned into your mother. I know I did! :-)
I agree with soknitpicky! I even find myself saying things to my son that Mom used to say to me!
I can see myself turning into my mother and JF turning into his father more each day!
Oh man! It's interesting how a person can morph like that. (sorry it caught you by surprise!) I'm undergoing the transformation myself. I was always under the impression I resembled neither side of my family. Now I see how wrong I was...
