You know what I love...

People who sing along with their ipods out loud while walking around NYC or any where for that matter. You're not in your car or your shower or the privacy of anywhere remotely private. We can all hear you and most of the time it doesn't sound good. I have to say these people must have super high self esteem because I would be completely embarrassed. I'm really good at making a fool out of myself I don't need to walk around the city singing and rocking out. Though one morning on my way to work I stood on the corner waiting to cross and this girl across the way was completely rocking out to whatever was on her ipod like she was Xtina or something but she at least knew not to sing out loud. We all have our self induced embarrassment limit don't we.

I also love when house guests bring or leave gifts. I got home tonight to find a sweet little daisy plant from Carl's sister and husband. The note she left very clearly pointed out that we shouldn't be able to kill it and in fact she had purposely tried to kill the one she has and it just wouldn't die. Now that's our kind of plant. I know I baby the orchids but I really that's my limit, two orchids. Anymore plants will have to just be a bit more self sufficient.

Personally, I really love it when I'm sitting in traffic and I can see people in other cars totally rockin' out to whatever is on their radio.

I just saw your post about blogging on Ravelry...and came over to visit.

I'm one of those people who sing out loud...all the time! I've been known to make my entire car rock at a stop light I'm "dancing" so hard. I like to live out loud whenever possible.

Dude, I SO know what you're talking about. It's not so much about the people in cars - that i can understand. But the people who crank up their music on subways and trains are just out of their minds - do they NOT realize there are at least 20 - 50 people listening to them??? I have to admit though, when i was listening to my ipod on the train last night I was mouthing the words - not singing out loud - just mouthing - and i was happy. A silent happy :o)

I bought another orchid the other day at home depot. It's just like the last pic I had on the orchid post on my blog: pale yellow with fuschia veins. So pretty and it came in a hot pink pot. I hope I don't kill it!
